Esther and Sienna were each awarded a Faculty of Science Hons and ANISE Pathway Scholarships (https://www.ainse.edu.au/pathway/) totaling $11,000. Both scholarships are extremely competitive and awarded to the top undergraduates who undertake Hons. As part of the ANISE award, they visited Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation (ANSTO) and produced isotopically labelled proteins in collaboration with ANSTO staff scientist Dr Anthony Duff based at the National Deuteration Facility.
